Snowcap fernplent split from its ancestor, the tower fernplent and moved to the Krakow Temperate Forest to the south. Except for a few adaptations to the temperate biome they hardly changed. First they decreased in size growing mainly in the summer and spring months. Its fern like leaves now grow from a cap like branch. This is in order to protect it from the snow and heavy rains that come in the winters. Also the top branches have grown much larger in order to shade and protect the whole plant. The males still use the top hole in order to spray spores every full moon while the females suck in air during that time trying to capture these spores and fertilize themselves. Later they will release their own cloud of tiny young snowcap fernplents which appear very much like tiny flying swarmers. Wherever they land is where they grow.
