Ancestor:Descendants:

The solent replaced its ancestor, the fluffytree hoverswent. It no longer flies and is completely arboreal. It hangs upside down in the trees eating the leaves of the fluffytrees. Its has developed a prehensile "butt-nostril" which helps it hand onto branches and trunks of trees. Their beak has elongated to help reach the leaves. And it has purple stripes to blend in with the purple flora it lives on. Like its ancestor it can still photosynthesize with its very small wing membranes but mainly uses its back sail for it. It uses orange photosynthesis which means it only absorbs blue light. They only come to the ground to move between trees that are too far apart.
