The southern polar shrubite split from its ancestor, the spiral shrubite to inhabit the southern coasts of the Jujubee Ocean. Like its ancestor it snatches up any objects it can in the water, gulps up whatever nutrients it might contain, and then builds it's shell around it. With time, these structures can grow huge. It co-exists with its ancestor in the Ovi Coast and spread through the southern polar coast as it is better adapted to living in colder waters. It grows slower than its ancestor due to this fact and has a purple-grey color to better fit in the purple sands of the Huggs Coast. It still grows in a leveled shell form but now having a looser form.
