Ancestor:Descendants:

The sticky glassballs relaced their ancestor the glassballs. Due to the success of the glass hatchball and shard glassballs it slowly died out. However some were able to survive by becoming parasitic. They feed on the bumble crystal and tumble crystal. They have re-evolved the sticky substance its ancient ancestors use to have but with a twist. This substance will not freeze. Thus it can stick to its host without falling off. Like its ancestors it still has an outer bubble to keep it warm in the cold and will perform "shelling" style reproduction.
