Ancestor:Descendants:

The stratovermes guttoplaque has replaced its ancestor, the guttoplaque in the troposphere, and lives only inside the atmospheric sagavermes' digestive tracks. Its rear microvillus developed into cilia for better locomotion, at the expense of being able to catch particles with them. It has also developed two pseudo-flagella on its front, to be able to move big food-particles to the area where its acid-spraying organelle can break it down.
