The stumpworm, so called for its stumpy, single-jointed limbs, evolved in a split off branch from the barbed buttworm. It uses its short arms to help aid its movement while on the ground. It also has developed the ability to smell dead things, but not because it eats them. The reason for this is so that it can find a plent easier. It may either attack a plent already at the carcass, or it may sit and wait for a plent to show up.
