The sucking foi split from its ancestor and evolved into a parasite. They literally live their entire life on a dark giant shovelhead, they have learned to suck onto the giants body and digest directly on the skin dissolving smaller parasites and the skin itself making the dark giant shovelhead scarred. When the sucking foi has sucked for a long time on one spot, they lay there spores directly into the wound, the baby's can then start feeding once they are born. The meat and blood from the dark giant shovelhead has turned the foi green.
