The sulfamoeba split from its ancestor, the lithoamoeba. It has specialized in metabolizing the underground sulfur in the volcanic region of Hydro. Like its ancestor they can convert inorganic materials into energy. They use pseudopods to gather up sulfur. They reproduce via mitosis.
