Ancestor:Descendants:

The sunsoaker replaced its ancestor in the LadyM Ocean. It has grown slightly larger and changed its form into a round ball covered by a skirt. It still floats around the water but instead of using an oxygen chamber its storing organelle is now filled with nitrogen taken from the air. The skirt contains lots of pigments and is its main area from which it photosynthesizes. It has also evolved the ability to break the powerful bond between the nitrogen atoms and use it for its own gain. This makes the sunsoaker a basic important part of the food chain being a source for bonded nitrogen in the ocean biomes. They also evolved a new method of reproduction, multiple fission. This means that before it goes through mitosis the cell creates lots of copies of its nuclei, from 2-12 usually, and only then divides into several daughter cells. That way it can reproduce much faster and create lots of daughter cells in a short time.
