Ancestor:Descendants:

The tetracrusicruge split from its ancestor and moved to the Cola Twilight Sea Mount. As its ancestor was evolving, it was met by the ancestor of the slither longtail, and the introduction of this new predator prompted the evolution. It has become smaller to hide amongst the chitjorns. The number of irritant-packed arms has doubled as a first defense. Its scaly guanine skin has become tougher and bumpier as a secondary defense. Individuals live for 4 months, releasing hundreds of asexual spores at the end of their respectable lives
