The crying rock is a name for a part of the formation of rocks which stretches from the inner Truteal Temperate Rainforest Island Island out to the northern parts of the Truteal Temperate Beach. This formation was created through wind and water erosion, and resemble a roman aqueduct in that it tunnels water from the higher parts of the island towards the north-western edge of the formation. The north-western edge of the aqueduct is what's known as "the crying rock", since the water transported to it by the natural aqueduct drips like tears through cracks on its western face.
