The threadshroom split from its ancestor, the boreal supershroom, and moved to the Flisch rainforests. It grows in both tropical and temperate forests, but it thrives best in temperate climates, since they are closer in temperature to its ancestor's environment. The number of spore berries has decreased to about 6-7. However the friendlier climate means that more berries survive to grow into new shrooms. The stalks on which the berries grow have changed into longer, more flexible threads. Threadshrooms tend to grow close together in large groups.
