The triorter replaced its ancestor, the delectustine. Now its a multicellular organism of 3 cells. It feeds on organic matter and botryomorsus subterreus, so it can live in the Xeno Sea Caves now too. When each of the 3 cells has enough energy to split 2 times in a row, the hole triorter splits into 3 cells and each of them splits 2 more times, that way creating 3 triorters at a time. It has grown a new flagellum.
