Ancestor:Descendants:

The trogato replaced its ancestor, the wargrat. With all the other predators in Badger Limestone Caves and lack of herbivores it took advantage of this open niche and became more of a herbivore by eating primarily the phantom crystal. However since these are hard for its carnivorous stomach to digest it also will eat ghastchomps from time to time.

Due to millions of years being without sunlight it eventually lost it eyesight and pigment. Its hearing became much more acute to where it can now pin-point prey as well as predators that might try to eat it. Its claws have becomes larger so it can climb around on even slippery rocks. Its skin appears greenish because of its green plent blood.

It uses its sharp wooden buck teeth to break off the hard outer shell of the phantom crystal to get to the oft fungi-like insides. They also work well at killing prey or defending against predators. They live much longer than their ancestors and reproduce less frequently.
