Ancestor:Descendants:

The trunksucking worm split off from its ancestor, the fruitsucking worm. In what could be considered an upgrade from its previous lifestyle, it now springs itself into the orbion, its new food source, where its jaws will stick into it. It will then release its acid into it, digesting a small hollow out, with the partially digested mass falling onto the ground. It will scoop it up into its oral cavity on its front. It will then repeat this until it has eaten enough. Its colors have changed to match the orbion, in order to camouflage itself from potential predators, that might be attracted by any noise caused by the feeding.
