The tundra bubblehorn split from its ancestor, the ylbershpelle bubblehorn. It has moved out of Badger Limestone Caves to Darwin Tundra. It has regained its 10 legs like many other bubblehorns have and no longer filter-feed with their "bubblehorns". They still have an open part of their shell to help them breathe. During the warm season they will spend their time in Darwin Tundra feeding on decomposing flora. They also lay their eggs in the melted ice puddles. In the cold season they will go into Badger Limestone Caves to hibernate. After hibernating they will return to Darwin Tundra to eat and mate again.
