Ancestor:Descendants:

The tundra root split from its ancestor the flightberry and adapted to the harsh life in the South Tundra. The tundra root no longer has flight berries but instead evolved "flight chambers" that grew in an abundance on top of the tundra root where the flightberrys berries used to grow. These flight chambers look almost exactly like the berries but are designed to contain spores and protect them through the winter so that the thundra root can reproduce. Little more has changed about the tundra root, their size has decreased and their leaves slightly changed apperance and the reproduction method has changed, other than that, the tundra root is exactly like its ancestor.
