Ancestor:Descendants:

The tundra rustling split from its ancestor, the rustling digger. It moved to Barlowe Tundra where it eats ironetwork. It gets all iron it needs from it. Like its ancestor, it will dig in the ground to get to its food. However, the tundra has very hard frozen soil so it has developed a long horn to help dig through the ice and frozen soil. It wears down a lot so it keeps having the grow it. The newer parts are gray, fresh iron while the red parts are old, rusty iron.

It has a spot on its back through which it produces a tiny iron egg. These will fall off after they have developed and then will grow into a new tundra rustling. It can use its sharp claws not only for digging but to cut through the ironetwork and then will chew it up with its long trunk-like mouth. They are blind so they depend upon 6 nostrils that side behind its horn, to sniff out food. During the winter they will dig burrows and hibernate. Once the soil has thawed enough for it to dig itself out it will leave its burrow again.
