Ancestor:Descendants:

The twin plyent split from its ancestor, the lazarus plyent. The photosynthesizing area of the twin plyent has increased since its ancestor due to the addition of another set of leaves that grew off from the main set. The twin plyent is completely blind, with only a vestigial eye depression. Its tails' bottoms now have tiny hairy growths that function to absorb water. As such, its mouth does not get much bigger after reaching adulthood, because it was unused. Another effect is that the twin plyent is now completely immobile. Due to this, its spawning material is now airborne spores.
