Some individuals of uksip hydroidea followed a different evolutionary way. In this in case, they had started to live in flat and deep waters, grown a little, and developed a paddle from its tail, becoming very quick. Beyond the paddle, two small appendages had appeared in the central part of its body. As well as the luliformes, the cilia turned into vibrant bands that allowed its movement in the water. In contrast to the other evolutionary line, the krilliformes developed stings on the tip of its long tentacles, using them to hunt. The evolution of this aggressive creature had its tooth reduced and transformed into a small hollow cone, capable of piercing the prey and sucking its interior. The creature also developed a particular pigmentation that serves to acknowledge the curious ones. Its eyes acquired a different formation, one of the eyes in the superior part of the face and the another in the inferior part. This was an important characteristic, because when the creature is near to the surface, it can observe the environment above and below the water surface at the same time.
