Tags are a proposed feature for improving navigation through Sagan 4's many species. They're basically miscellaneous semantic mediawiki properties that serve primarily for navigation.

Examples of niche tags (property "niche", shows on ecosystem page):

  • Mesopredator
  • Macropredator
  • Superpredator
  • Grazer
  • Browser
  • High browser
  • Pollinator

Examples of important information tags (property "must-know", shows on ecosystem page):

  • Fruiting

Examples of broad classification tags (property "broad classification", may need a better name):

  • Reditian (Weeks 5-9)
  • Terrian (Weeks 10-early 15)
  • Recuperian (Weeks 15-18)
  • Ferian (Weeks 19 and 20)
  • Glacian (Weeks 21 and 22)
  • Diluvian (Weeks 23-26)
  • Current period (only possible to name in hindsight)
