The Vegfoots have split from their ancestors in the Russ River. They now rely on Photosynthesis as a full means of power. It was able to do so because it had one thing all the other plants in that river do not have and that is locomotion. Though a mutation that caused its tentacles become on single powerful foot that is used to find the best spots of light it also uses its eye to find out where the source of light is. It can actually step over top of other plants and steel the light. They will only get out of the water once in their life time and that is to mate. The male will die on the spot after mating and the female will die as soon as birth is given. The Vegfoot move very little because it takes to much energy. They also dig the tentacles into the ground when they find a good area. They do still drink with their mouth not tentacles.
