The vulkreig split from it's ancestor. After the Ice comet that raised sea levels, the vulkyen was able to become gigantic due to Island Gigantisum, and became the vulkrieg. It's ringed root has elongated into a long trunk. The vulkrieg also has many leaves atop the trunk, which still spread seeds when it's windy. These changes make it resemble a palm tree. These trees live about 120 years.
