The wading emulsifly split from it's ancestor the emulsifly. It took advantage of the new food resource in Ovi Lake and started eating the nuh-hum. The wading emulsifly is basically the same as it's ancestor, but has become amphibious and can use its wings like flippers. It lives on the shores of the lake, but get its food from the nuh-hum's fruit, which live in the lake. It is very intelligent.
