Ancestor:Descendants:

The walking uktank replaced its ancestor the clumsy uktank. It has developed island gigantism and grew 10 times its ancestors size. Three of its claws have evolved into muscled legs. Each legs has vertical and horizontal muscles. The horizontal muscles are ring shaped and can support its weight like stacking tires. The fourth claw has developed into a tentacle again. The claw is now saw-like and used to cut off leaves from the the flora it eats.

Like its ancestor it must live an amphibious lifestyle and must go back into the water. In order to be able to stay out of the water it has a massive hollow shell in which it will fill with compressed oxygen. It gathers this for most of the day while in the water. It also have many breathing holes in its shell in order to fill it with oxygen, which are closed with membranes during its time outside the water. It still reproduces in the water and lays eggs in the water. They flock in masses once every full moon near the beach at shallow waters in Ovi Coast for a mass reproduction ritual.

Most of their time on land is spent on feeding. Its now has a more varied die to to their larger size. Their mouth is now on a long tube. On the end has whats left of their hollow tooth, is now only a bony ring. This tube can suck in air to bring in the food even though their is not used for respiration. In addition to bringing food in they can use this to create sound from the tube mouth. They have also developed a primitive ear using the front shell plate. This plate picks up the sound and the vibration is translated to the brain as noise. Thus now with a way to make sound and hear sound they will communicate with each other while on land.

They use their hooked shells, which were once used to scratch stickyballs off the flora is now used to battle each other over terratory on land. Only the strongest get the best patches of speckled berry plant. However they have been known to eat fermented berries which cause them to become drunk. This can cause death if they fall over on land and cannot get up before their tank runs out.
