Ancestor:Descendants:

The wallaspringer split from its ancestor. It moved out of the river and has established itself in the eastern parts of Drake, finding the crystal plategrass as its preferred food source; its teeth have hardened into a row of blunt molars to more easily chew the hard chitin. Its back-plates and leg membranes have changed green for better camouflage, though the back-plates can still change colors for communication. Its skull plate has hardened into a horn-spike for defense and also provides rudimentary digging assistance. Their movements have changed as well: they use their tail-leg for primary thrust and land on their four legs. Other than this, they are the same as its ancestor.
