The wolley has replaced its ancestor in the Bumpy Polar Coast and has spread out into the Darkov and Elerd Temperate Coasts along with the Colddigger Polar Bay. Unlike its ancestor, the wolley has elongated into a serpentine shape, which allows it slink around the marine bubbleweed. It has also reactivated color-changing genes; these allow it to change from shades of purple to shades of gold, which allows it to blend in with the purple flora and golden sand. Another adaptation the wolley has evolved is a set of gills derived from its nasal cavity and sinuses that are not only used for smelling, but can also take in more oxygen than just absorbing it through skin. The wolley has also re-evolved a set of sharp teeth that is uses to snatch prey and swallow them whole. The wolley has also evolved a small pair of barbels that it uses to sense movement in the water. The wolley still has its ancestor's glowing spots, though they only use them to communicate with other wolleys. Much like its relative, the feef, it has evolved small front limbs that the wolley uses to cling onto a potential mate. The wolley's method of reproduction has reverted back to the way the Carpozoa lineage does it; the female lays eggs, the male fertilizes them and scoops the eggs in its mouth, where they will stay until fully grown.
