The woodland grovecrystal split from its ancestor and moved to the tropical woodlands of the continent of Darwin. Since there is more oxygen and it is warmer in the tropical woodlands, the woodland grovecrystal grew larger than its ancestor. Its roots have also grown deeper to take advantage of the abundance of nutrients. Like its ancestor, it reproduces through budding. Also like its ancestor, it has a hard trunk to defend it from herbivores and natural forces, including parasites such as sapshrooms and sapworms. This hard trunk also keeps it upright.
Other than all that, it is almost the same as its ancestor.
