Ancestor:Descendants:

The wright carpozoan guttoplaque replaced its ancestor on wright and now sifts food out of its hosts stomach fluids more efficiently. It now has three large indents with long cilia that rapidly push stomach fluid through the indents. These indents are lined with membrane specialised for rapidly absorbing food particles from the stomach fluid.
