The xeno diamiboard replaced its ancestor the diamiboard in Xeno Shallows. Due to island gigantism it has grown to 10 times it ancestors size. Most of this height is due to its very long stalk witch it uses to anchor itself to the bottom of the shallows. Its board is not much bigger than the ancestor and still absorb blue light using orange photosynthesis. Its stalk has little root buds which collect organic particles from the water. The roots under the soil can absorb nutrients as well. Unlike its ancestor it will expel its spore in the water rather than the air. A host of species still live on its such as the urstar and hitchhiker hydroglobes.
