The xidhloty split from its ancestor, the xidhingy. Some xidhingy floated out of the Irinya River, spreading across all coasts in Glicker, and therefore had to adapt. It has doubled its size, increasing its ability to photosynthesize, and evolved a new leaf at its top. Growing in size meant weighing much more than its ancestor, which meant it had to develop a way to remain afloat. It keeps a bubble full of air under its body. The roots are not rooted anymore as the coasts are much deeper then the river, but they still give nutrients to the flora.
When the small xidhloty's begin to grow, its bubble, under its body, is not completely full of air. Holding the bubble at its side prevents the bubble from filling itself with water through the holes where the air is supposed to enter. After the bubble is filled it moves to the bottom of the flora.
