Ancestor:Descendants:

The yuccagave split from its ancestor, the windbulb. It has doubled in size and has adapted to desert environments. It has several desert adaptions including a waxy outer coating to keep in moisture, sharp saw-edged leaves to keep herbivores from eating them and of course it still has a bulb root in order to save up energy during droughts. It still reproduces asexually either by budding off its roots or spreading its airborne seeds in the wind.
