Ancestor:Descendants:

The alpine soriparasite split off from its ancestors to live in the Alpine. There were no dramatic changes when this species evolved. The changes include the atrophication of the small claw on the front limbs, and the slight lengthening of the large claw, slightly longer canines, and some fat for insulation. The alpine soriparasite gets the rest of its warmth from its warm-blooded hosts.
