---|---|
The azulglobe split from its ancestor. It is twice the size of its ancestor and is a dark blue, absorbing most wavelengths of light, but mostly in the orange range. It can be found at the surface of the water or at the sea floor. It now absorbs organic particles, such as animal waste and remains, and use them for nutrients.
