The beach nobit split from its ancestor and spread to the nearby Hydro Beach where food was abundant and there were little predators. From there it migrated to the BigL Beach as well. Unfortunately as it reproduced extremely fast inner-specie competition became very common. This caused the social structure to disappear.
In order to cope with its new environment the beach nobit evolved a few adoptions. At first it has a rather short fur and long ears that help it survivor better in the warmer beaches. Its legs now have a thick crust of dead cracked skin that helps them walk on the warm sands and volcanic ashes. As they have few natural predators their side horns became slightly smaller and they have lost their sulfuric cloud releasing mechanism as they wandered to areas where sulfur was rare. Instead their back nostrils are now used to create loud sounds to scare away competitors.
As their social structure disappeared the beach nobit became a solitary creature that only meets to mate in mating season. In other times of the year when two nobits will meet often the stronger one will scare the other one off. If the two nobits are around the same size they will at first start a howling battle in which the nobit that howls through its back nostrils stronger wins. Sometimes these battles can get bloody and the two will clash horns event to death. This will mainly happen in mating season when the males tend to become much more aggressive. The males' frontal body and forehead hair also grows much longer and thicker in this season, the only noticeable sexual dimorphism this creature has. They feed on coastal flora and consume mass amounts each day to sustain their small bodies. As they are less intelligent than their ancestor they can be often found growling and howling back on the humms when the wind blows through them.
