The tusked grassblaster split from the grassblaster. It has shrunk in size and has specialized in eating the smaller glassflora. To uproot the glassflora it has evolve wooden tusks on its lower jaws. Their butt-sacs are not quite as booming as their ancestors however they sound larger than their size. This can confuse predators that try to eat them. Their cyan backs and rusty bellies help them blend in with the glassflora and red rusty soil of Barlowe. They lives in medium-sized herds so there are always some pair of eyes or ears to detect predators. If a predator comes they will call out so the herd can run away together.
