Long, slender, and serpentine, this split of the rosy scylarian has taken to the open ocean and has since thrived through the northern waters of Sagan IV. Solitary predators, they prefer to go after smaller schooling species, relying on their narrow outline, especially when seen from head-on, to confuse their prey which may think that this scylarian is a much smaller predator than what it actually is. After the chance mating, females head to warmer waters to give birth. It is here that the young will continue to grow for the first few years of their life before eventually heading north to colder, more nutrient-rich water where the pickings are good and the hunting is superb all year round. They have few predators, though other scylarian species as well as seaswimmers are always a looming threat.
