The bladeworm replaced its ancestor, the powder petitworm. It has specialized in eatting the pollen from spikeblades and quillblades. It has lost the ability to fly because its wings now resemble the sharp blades of spikeblades and quillblades. They not only provide camouflage but protect against predators. Like its ancestor its has visible holes on its head which are used to breathe and yellow eyes going down its back. It uses its sticky tongue to lick up spores directly from the flora its on.
