Ancestor:Descendants:

The blind cavehorn replaced its ancestor, the cavehorn in Mandate Limestone Caverns. After millions of years without sunlight from the surface they lose all their pigment and sight. However their hearing improved to the point they could "see" using echolocation. Their three butt-nostrils can make a variety of clicks and hoots that help them navigate in the dark as well as communicate with each other. Their "leaves" have completely disappeared now since there was no need for photosynthesis. They appear slightly green due to their green blood.

Like their ancestors they eat solely the limestone ball. It must look out for eerie gossalizards, but have an advantage over them in that they can "see" through their echolocation. Without light their crest, horns and coloring were more or less useless. Those that make with the more complex "song" now gets the right to mate. Males will also fight over prime feeding sites by making threatening calls and sometimes even resort to biting each other with their beaks.
