Another descendant of the Blind Cavehorn to leave the depths of the Mandate Limestone Caverns, the twilight ridgehorn has taken a slightly different path towards survival compared to its cousins. Completely blind, and with its eyes have degenerated to the point of being covered in a layer of skin, this species instead relies on its powerful sense of hearing in order to "view" its surroundings while hopping amongst the rainforest undergrowth. Nocturnal, it only comes out to feed when the sun goes down, and has coloration that matches against the brown of the bark and the purple of the leaves of its primary food sources. The frontmost pair of limbs have degenerated even further, becoming completely useless and containing only a few small bones within them.
Forming small herds, they tend to sleep in small burrows left behind by other creatures or which have naturally formed due to the elements. Three to four young are born per mating, and are provided care by the parents as they stick with the group, only leaving after achieving sexual maturity in order to found new groups or join others.
