Ancestor:Descendants:

The blind warverines are the direct progression of the warverines, and have replaced their ancestors. After being cut off from sunlight for millions of years it lost their pigment and sight. Individuals appears greenish in color due to its green blood. Their ears have grown huge so it can hear better in the dark. It will use its butt-nostrils to chirp so it can use echolocation to "see" in the dark. Their tails have grown to the lengths of their bodies, which they use to detect danger from behind. They operate mainly as a large scavenger to feed upon large carcasses, thereby cleaning up the many bodies that may litter the location due to the predation by other species. However, they are also more adapted for hunting on their own, should they not find carcasses to feed upon. They will kill elderly or young warverines in a similar manner to the cannibalism exhibited by their ancestors.

Intrauterine cannibalism is seen in this species, with multiple embryos being conceived, but only one or two survive to birth. The larger or stronger ones consume their less-developed siblings as a source of nutrients. They are less likely to eat their own young but still leave their young to fend for themselves a week after birth to return to their own eating and mating. Like wargrats, they only congregate at mating season, where two males will duel to the death over a receptive female; those that survive these brutal battles are riddled with scars.
