Ancestor:Descendants:

The brachelak split from its ancestor, the tuskelak. Unlike its ancestor it lost most of its aggressive nature. It was just too big for its ancestor to bother and this it kept growing and growing to keep up with the pinebu. Its teeth and knee spikes have gotten smaller due to their more mild nature and not needing them to fight. They are usually too big for any predators, but the babies are still vulnerable. Like its ancestor it just eats and chews cud as it crashes through the forest. It exclusively eats only pinebu since the other herbivores are too short to get to its leaves. Is back hump can store food during lean times.
