The pinebu split from the pine pambu. It is much like its ancestor except its trunk has grown much taller. It now dwarfs other trees in the region. Its long skinny leaves were perfect for the snowy alpine regions of Wright. They grow year round and are called "everpinks". The Berries only fruit during the summer when the snow has melted.
