The brain urchip replaced its ancestor, the floating urchip. Like their ancestor they follow the ocean currents, and simply zigzag to their designated location. Their appearance had changed greatly. Its colors have toned down to blend in with the brain shrubite it eats, so much so it has the same outside pattern that resembles a brain. Like their ancestor their side flanges protect more young within them. It also eats the shrubite with acidic saliva that melts it and then it sucks it up with the straw-like beak. This saliva can even get through the bitter, gooey film over the top of brain shrubite.
