The bubble vines evolved from purple sea bubbleweed, except adapted to the swamp biome. It climbs up the shallowpalm and actually helps protect it from herbivores such as the pleppo. As it climbs, the bubbles get in the way and, like all bubble plants, can ignite the hydrogen bubble seeds. After a few burning plents, they quickly learned to avoid those trees with bubble vines on them. The seeds also help it rise up the trunk quicker, since the hydrogen bubble pulls them up.
