The carpet foi split from its ancestor in Ittiz Coast and headed inland. The carpet foi still digests food on the outside of its body however it has found a new source of food in Ittiz Swamp, the swamp beans. The carpet foi simply lays down like a carpet over the beans and feed on them directly from there. They still feed on anything that gets stuck on them whilst swimming around however and will occasionally curl up into a ball to digest them. They reproduce via fragmentation.
