Ancestor:Descendants:

The rusty-red foi has split from its ancestor. It now lives in the rusty sands of the Ittiz, Clayren, and Ovi Coasts. Instead of swimming in the water, it crawls on the sand. Mucus is secreted on the belly to keep it on, and it just feeds on decaying matter. It still has to curl itself to digest. To get its reddish coloration, the rusty-red foi absorbs iron from the sand. It can now be unseen by predators thanks to this.
