Ancestor:Descendants:

The cave crystal has split from its ancestor. It has shrunk as to fit in the Allen Ice Caves. It still inhabits the North Tundra and there are often fields of them just outside the Allen Ice Cave Entrances. They happen to be there because spores sometimes land in the caves and grow. The ones in the cave use less photosynthesis then those outside.
