Ancestor:Descendants:

The cave flune split from its ancestor, the tumbling flune. It followed the cave bramble into Rabid Sandstone Caves. Since the cave bramble can grow on the cave walls it has developed larger feet with gripping footpads. This means it cannot roll into a ball anymore but its shell still can protect it from predators. Its eyes have gotten bigger so it can see better in the dim light of the cave. It now lays its frog-like eggs in the pools in the cave.
