Ancestor:Descendants:

The cave krillpede split from its ancestor the krillpede. It now lives in the sheltered sea cave. Here the currents wash in organic particles in which it can filter-feed and eat. It has lost all pigment since it lives all its life in the dark cave. It could not see to begin with so moving around in the darkness is not an issue. Other than that it is much like its ancestor.
